RANDOLPH D. LEE, O.D.

Dr. Lee is a native Idahoan. His great grandparents homesteaded near Orofino in the late 1800's. Both his parents graduated from Weiser High School. Dr. Lee was raised in Boise, graduating from Boise High School and Boise State University. Dr. Lee is a graduate of Pacific University, College of Optometry in Oregon and did his residency at the State University of New York in Manhattan.

Dr. Lee is married and has two daughters. He enjoys golf and bicycling. Dr. Lee is very active in the America Optometric Association. He has served on the Communications Committee and has been chairman of two similar committees. Dr. Lee has been honored by the Idaho Optometric Association by receiving the Idaho Optometrist of the Year Award twice-in 1992 and again in 2003. He is currently also on the Board of Directors for Vision Service Plan(VSP).

The Optometric Center is one of the oldest eye care practices in Boise. It was originally founded by Dr. Glen Taylor in the late 1920's and was located in the old Union Block Building Downtown. Dr. Robert Magwire replaced Dr. Taylor in 1961 and moved the practice out to Fairview Avenue near Cole Rd. Dr. Lee joined Dr. Magwire in 1978 and assumed sole-ownership in 1991.

Melissa, CPOA

Melissa has worked at Optometric Center, P.A. the past 7 years in many various roles and is now the Office Manager. She's been on the Paraoptometric Board for the last 6 years as well, and in 2007 received the Paraoptometric of the Year award. Currently she is attending Boise State University to pursue a degree in Optometry.

Sarah, Optician

Sarah has been an optician for over 8 years. She started her career at a chain optical, and loves the challenges. She joined our staff in early 2010. She loves to help customers find the right frame for them. She loves her job and working or the Optometric Center fits her perfectly. Sarah is newly married and has two wonderful children.

Lara

Lara joined the Optometric Center in November. She has been in the vision field for 2 years and enjoys working with patients. Lara enjoys fashion and keeps up on the new trends in optical fashion.

Lara has a 3 year old daughter and enjoys riding horses.
